The music and sound effects of this game set a mood for each world, from a honky-tonk beat to eerie, suspenseful music. As one would expect, the game uses the Wii remote extensively. I just think they could've thought the courses out better, mainly.There are some new characters to the line of original enemies who try to make the brothers' life miserable as they journey through a maze of obstacles. Platform: Nintendo Wii Mario Party 8 was released just six months after the Nintendo Wii launched. This game was good, and definitely better than Mario Party 1. Especially after playing the first 2 mario parties with such neat, original places. The courses themselves were also just so boring.

When Mario Party 3 came out I was already well engrossed into the Mario Party series, and was excited to try another one out.
